David Cruz has made people laugh for more than 10 years. He has performed his high energy, interactive comedy show for corporate events, cruise ships, festivals, and comedy clubs. Laughter is guaranteed when David invites audience members to join him on stage, where he actually makes them the stars of the show!

Born in the Philippines, David currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He is the oldest of five children and grew up vying for attention. So he made people laugh. He loved performing. He loved the stage. He loved the attention. To improve his skills, David went on to earn a drama degree from Mt. San Antonio College. With a diploma in hand, he knew he was ready to step in front of an audience and show off his talents.

David’s witty, sharp one-liners have been compared to the styles of Gary Shandling and Steven Wright. His one-hour show provides sidesplitting laughter and amazing visual skills.

Developing a strong work ethic at an early age enabled David to become the captain of his high school wrestling team, a professional bowler, and a contestant on the TV show, “American Gladiators.”

Working on cruise ships, David has traveled all over the world. One of his favorite memories is when he sailed into Venice, Italy for the very first time. The breathtaking views and the romantic history of this beautiful city are memories that he will not soon forget. In his travels David’s adventurous side has led him to experience bungee jumping in Acapulco, white water rafting in Colorado, skydiving in California, and dog sledding on a glacier in Alaska.

Stories of David’s life could fill many pages. However, David has learned one thing from his therapist: the only reason she’s willing to listen to him is because he pays her. At this time he would like you to know that his cholesterol is under control, he loves his mother, and he hasn’t bounced any checks. How much better could it be?
